Dust and the Hazards to Human Health
Finely ground and powdered ingredients can affect indoor air quality (IAQ) and can be harmful to health. Flour dust, for example, can cause dermatitis and asthma. Read more here.

LEV System Testing
HVDS provides a local exhaust ventilation system testing service. According to the law, LEV systems should have a thorough examination and test (TExT) at least every 14 months by a P601 qualified engineer. Furthermore, a record of testing must be kept for at least 5 years. Read more here.

To improve your air hygiene and to prolong the life of your LEV system, HVDS offers a full LEV system hygiene service. Food production facilities and other manufacturing environments can expose their workers to airborne substances that can be hazardous to health.
